plugins vs studio version

Hello there,

my question is: what specs differentiate when i work with plugins (animation) and the studio or professional version.

The thing is that we want to find a fast workflow for our characters if the body is already animated and as a last instance we want to animate the facials on top of it if possible - everything inside max - after that we would export to the engine from max as always.

I would be gratefull for answers and tips on this workflow

Cheers,

David

If you have a copy of Studio Professional / Unlimited, use that for generating the animation. It has a more advanced animation generation engine. We're in final testing on the 2012 version and we've implemented some features to let you work with full body animation directly inside of FaceFX Studio. In 2012 you'll be able to animate FaceFX on top of your body animation inside of FaceFX Studio, then export the facial animation out to 3dsmax. In the next couple of weeks this workflow will become a lot smoother.
