Text Tagging

Text tags are modifications to the text file that change the audio analysis or insert curves or events into the animation in synchronization with the surrounding words in the text file.

There are three types of text tags:
An analysis text preprocessor can be used to insert tags automatically based on the contents of the text file.

  • Text tags are parsed from the text as the first step in audio text preparation, before punctuation is stripped.
  • Incomplete tags are discarded, so anything inside the text-tag brackets that is not a text tag will be ignored by analysis.
  • Audio chunking text tags are processed first and break the animation up into pieces.    Each chunk of audio is analyzed seperately with it's corresponding text.  As a result, curve tags can not begin in one chunk and end in another.
