Workspaces

FaceFX 2009 contains a combined workspace and preview tab with hardware-accelerated sliders.

  • Drag nodes or curves onto a workspace to create new sliders.
  • Drag nodes or curves onto an existing slider to create a 2D slider.
  • Press and hold the 'Ctrl' key to move or rotate sliders.
  • Select <AutoWorkspace> to always show sliders corresponding to the current node/curve selection.
  • Attach cameras to specific bones to lock the camera to an area of interest.
  • Use Next-Key and Previous-Key buttons to go to the time corresponding to the next key on the selected slider. If no sliders are selected, all sliders in the current workspace will be considered.
  • Press and hold the 'H' key to temporarily hide the workspace for a better view of the character. Note that the workspace still functions while it is hidden.
  • Press and hold the 'Alt' key to manipulate the default camera. If the camera is a named, user-created camera hold down both the 'Ctrl' and "Alt' keys to manipulate the camera.
